Typical Interior Wall Installation

There are a few ways of installing Eco-Cem panels in interior wall partitions.
1) Applying the boards with the use of a thinset over the existing wall. With the proper trowel size, properly mixed thinset and a properly prepared setting surface you are ready to spread the thinset and attach the tiles.
2) If this is a new construction, and its a simple wall, (not a fire-rated wall) the boards can be applied directly into the studs as shown below. For more information on the distances of screws see the Steel Furring Details page.
3) Another method would be the 'hidden screw system'. This method is easily achieved by the use of Z-Clips. A detailed drawing is shown below.
